Tandoori is cooking method that involves marinated meat being cooked over an intense fire in a tandoor, a clay oven. The spices are blended with yoghurt (plain)and allowed to stand overnight before being grilled on a BBQ or in a hot oven. This method of cooking is commonly used for meat but you can also cook pumpkin and root veg on this way as well just be sure to lightly par boil the veg first, cool and then marinate before cooking.
The weight of each spice blend does vary depending on the weight of the ingredients, I have had many customers ask how big/much is 20gm etc; so I am currently using volume as a guide - 30, 60 or 150ml. As a rough guide a small (30ml) tim is enought for 1 - 2 meals for 2 people.
