This blend comes from Sri Lanka (Ceylon), and it is an authentic taste of the island. It is a roasted curry powder, which gives it a deep, toasty taste which combines beautifully with the natural aromatic flavours of the spices used.

Sri Lankan Curry
While fish and seafood are staple foods in Sri Lanka, and this blend works wonderfully with them, but it can also be used for, chicken, vegetables, lentils and other pulses.
The curry is traditionally cooked in coconut milk, which tempers and balances the spicy heat, resulting in a medium hot dish. This is a ‘wet’ curry, with plenty of sauce, and it goes very well with roti, chapati or naan bread to mop up the gravy.
