A medium hot chilli chilli flake is perfect for kimchi making. Use gochugaru in other Korean recipes such as bulgogi, stir fries, dipping sauces and meat marinades. Please note this is not a paste but a flake.


You can also use to season noodle and rice dishes, or even as a rub for roast chicken,along with finely diced garlic and preserved lemons.
